Westfield Emergency Response and BCP Delivery

A member of the Providence team was engaged to support Westfield respond to several ‘active shooter’ incidents across the US portfolio and a number of suicides across the Australian portfolio. Westfield proactively met its duty of care to the public by recruiting key security & risk managers to their portfolio. A member of the team gave risk and security advice, developed the escalated threat response plans for terrorist centric risk and were part of a small team that developed the response protocol for suicides and self-harm across the centres. The Providence team member also developed a business continuity plan after wide stakeholder engagement and research into alternate responses that would involve the AFP.
