Executive Team

Jess has created ‘employer of choice’ workforces for 15 years. As a HR specialist executive, Jess provides exemplary business acumen, executive engagement, organisation strategy to successfully manage organisation HR and employee lifecycles, across specialist/Big Four Consulting, Health and Governments’ sectors. Jess is committed to delivering the Providence Promise through: leadership, authentic employee engagement, culture strategy, progressive L&D and recruitment approaches, aligned to deliver excellent professional services for Providence clients.
Adash is an executive operations, management, and risk specialist with extensive experience in the Australian Government and commercial environment. He has provided consulting services for 18+ years in roles requiring leadership, management, governance, and analytical skills. Adash is an experienced at managing commercial operations and adept at operationalising strategies to achieve corporate objectives. Adash is a father to two young daughters, a dedicated family man, and an outdoor and hiking enthusiast.
Craig has successfully led Defence and interagency teams in the most complex and demanding of environments. He is a team builder, problem solver and critical thinker with a proven record of cutting through ambiguity and complexity to provide the clarity, innovation and leadership necessary for organisations to succeed. Craig joined Providence in May 2021 after retiring from the Australian Army as a Major General.
Robert is the Senior Director, Consulting for Providence. His focus is on delivering transformation through solutions that are evidence based and research backed. He has led and managed teams for Tier 1 Engineering, Advisory, Management Consulting and Program Management firms. Because of his wide-ranging career and experience he enables sensemaking, critical thinking about problems and navigating complexity to find solutions. Robert has extensive experience working across government, public commercial firms, NGO's and for-purpose organisations. Robert is a trusted advisor, counsellor and coach to politicians, board members and C-suite executives; high wealth individuals, elite athletes and senior management all the way through organisation’s middle management and emerging leaders. He is an award-winning People and Change expert and part of the Australian community of practice for Change Management, Behavioural Insights and Neurodiversity.

Ian Dardis

Strategic Adviser to the Board

Ian Dardis is an expert in professional services firm leadership having held senior executive positions in global firms as well as having a successful career as a Management Consulting Partner with Deloitte . His breadth of executive professional services leadership experience includes global accounting , finance and operation consulting , technology consulting and legal services organisations. He has over 35 years of professional services experience in the financial services, government, utilities and telecommunications industries.

Richard McShane

Chairman of the Board

Richard is an executive leader with over 25 years' experience in strategy, project and procurement management. For 15 years he led Canberra-based SME, Providence Consulting Group, and has established and led several other businesses. Richard is Member of the AICD and is active on a number of Boards including Providence Consulting, Team Downer MSP and FrontLine Yoga – a not-for-profit delivering free trauma-sensitive yoga to service and other frontline personnel. He is also a Non-Executive Board Member on Canberra-based indigenous consulting firm, Curijo Pty Ltd.

Mark Scott

Board Director

Mark is a business leader with significant experience as Founder, Managing Director and CEO of small to medium sized consulting businesses.  He has held Board positions at global and local companies and currently sits on five different boards as Chairman and non-Executive Director, including Providence and its subsidiary Providence T&I.  His expertise covers consultancy leadership in the transport, infrastructure, and Defence sectors.  He is passionate about creating value through the implementation of strategies that deliver both long- and short-term benefits.
