Veterans Review Board: Military Research

Providence undertook military research on behalf of the Veteran’s Review Board (VRB) to assess the likelihood that deceased veterans would have been exposed to a variety of adverse situations, if so, the nature and extent of any exposure. A member of the team produced reports that provided sufficient context of a veteran’s service and the nature of their employment so that the VRB could make a fair and equitable decision that satisfied the claimant, irrespective of the outcome. Our researcher was required to identify, locate and conduct detailed analysis of a wide range of archival material sourced from the Naval Historical Society – Australia, the Australian War Memorial (AWM), and the National Library of Australia (NLA).
