Design and implementation of Joint Health Command (JHC)

Providence undertook three separate but interdependent streams of work to identify and treat undesirable effects in the Defence Health Workforce, with the specific aim to address poor retention and attraction of ADF Medical Officers. Our team identified the issues, recommended solutions, and provided detailed implementation plans for generating a more effective and efficient Defence Health Workforce that could meet current and future operational requirements. The work culminated in a report that addressed the Strategic Review of the ADF Health Workforce and provided recommendations to address identified issues, risks, and opportunities across the Defence health workforce. This included a health workforce campaign, a framework to synchronise all health workforce initiatives.
