AFP Specialist Response Group (SRG) Training and Transformation

Providence was engaged to review existing Australian Federal Police (AFP) Registered Training Organisation (RTO) programs. Specifically our team consulted with AFP Subject Matter Experts (SME) within the Specialist Response Group (SRG). The resulting work developed new training programs for inclusion in the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) and resubmission for renewal within the AFP RTO. These courses not only uplifted the capability within the SRG, but also interfaced with the advanced diploma in police negotiation. The initiative involved wide stakeholder engagement, review of current and desired work practices and mentoring SRG team leads.
