This exciting venture commenced in 2024 with Providence providing specialist communications, systems and space related engineering expertise with our other PM, ILS and project control skills to support the ADF’s current and future military satellite communications capability consisting of space, ground, control and terminal assets.

The Space Systems IWP is part of Australia’s effort to enhance its space capabilities through life and provides an incredible opportunity for the Providence team to partner with some of Australia’s brightest minds and advanced technologies.

The SSB IWP represents a significant strategic partnership between the Commonwealth and Team Downer and its dynamic network of over 400 Small to Medium Enterprises, ready to enable this leading-edge set of capabilities across the next decade.
