Submarine Systems and Technology Partnerships: collaboration framework

In a first-of-its-kind request from the both the Australian Defence Force and the newly established Australian Submarine Association, Providence were engaged as industry leaders in collaboration, to guide ASA and DSTG though the pivotal first few months of their partnership and establish a working relationship for both parties in accordance with the principles contained in ISO 44001: Collaborative Business Relationship Systems.

Our unrivalled understanding of maritime machinations, coupled with coupled with a deep understanding of ISO44001 principles and organisational change, meant this engagement was a unique and effective offering of both expertise in principles and experienced operational project management.

Providence provided extensive collaboration materials, learnings and coaching to executive leadership, in conjunction with a highly effective application of project support to the actual operations.   What resulted was an industry best-practise collaborative framework – including the first iteration of the partnership’s Relationship Management Plan – for the two entities in which to engage.

Providence are proud to leave both ASA and DSTG with the unique ability to demonstrate and promote this work as proof of model: a collaborative framework that enables two entities to work together to deliver significant national defence priorities of enormous value.
