Yorke and Northern Local Health Network: safety and security

As part of its broader operating strategy, the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) sought to improve the safety and security of staff, patients and visitors at those facilities that are of high community importance and value. Our team was engaged to deliver two Operational Security and Risk Assessments (OSRAs) for the Port Pirie Health Facility and Wallaroo Health Facility to assist in ensuring the safety of staff, patients and visitors.

Within each OSRA, the team incorporated analysis of extant safety mitigation tactics to determine viability while also suggesting new mitigations. Known processes and risks were evaluated and reviewed, with improvements and additional risks/mitigations suggested where appropriate. Upon completion of this engagement the team successfully delivered two OSRAs which have since been integrated into the YNLHN strategic security risk action plan.
