Client: Home Affairs
What: Development of agency security plan and security risk governance framework and associated management systems
Linked to: Systems for integrated Organisational security management
Providence worked as an embedded team of advisors to the Department of Home Affairs to enhance their security through the establishment of national programs to elevate the organisations security capability.
Leveraging expertise in security risk management and executive communication, Providence developed essential artefacts including the Agency Security Plan, Security Risk Management Framework, and a program to train personnel in vulnerability evaluation, threat assessment & risk analysis.
Providence performed security risk assessment across Home Affairs and Border Force sites. This required extensive engagement with managers and executives to gain agreement to the assessed risk profiles.
The program resulted in the Home Affairs Chief Security Officer (CSO) gaining visibility of the Department’s security risk profile, security orientation and dispositions. Further, Providence developed a risk-based prioritised program of security upgrade works for the Department.
Adash is Providence’s CEO and is responsible to the Providence Board and Providence’s clients for ensuring the timely delivery of outcomes through advice, guidance and mentoring to Providence’s staff.
