Our GM Consulting, Mark Cooper, recently attended the 25th Australian Scout Jamboree. 10,600 Scouts and leaders from 35 countries around the world descended on Tailem Bend in South Australia for 11 fun-packed days doing a whole range of exciting activities.

Highlights included glider flying, motorcar hot laps, abseiling, rifle range, water activities and a confidence course with lots of mud. The Jamboree had its own TV station, radio station, daily newspaper and full emergency services capabilities including police, ambulance, fire brigade and security. It is a massive logistical exercise with enormous quantities of equipment, services and food and water.

Mark was the quarter master for his troop of 41 people and this was his third Jamboree. He said it was a fabulous experience and he enjoyed sharing it with his youngest daughter.
